The Gastineau Humane Society (GHS) is seeking candidates for a Licensed Veterinary Technician/Clinic Director. For full description and details, please see attached document.
This position is located in Juneau, Alaska. The Licensed Veterinary Technician/Clinic Director reports to the Deputy Director and Executive Director. Supervisory responsibility includes secondary supervision of approximately 2 other staff members, and occasional supervision of up to 10 other staff members.
Under minimal supervision, the Licensed Veterinary Technician/Clinic Director manages the Gastineau Humane Society (GHS) shelter clinic. They will work in close cooperation with the partner Veterinarian(s) and GHS staff to provide high quality shelter medicine, surgery, treatment for all animals in the care of GHS.
Full-time employees are eligible for Paid Leave & Health Insurance after 90 days and enrollment in Retirement/401K after one year.
